Kevin Durant | SF | GS
Durant supplied 15 points (7-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt), 14 rebounds, eight assists and two blocks over 33 minutes in Thursday’s 103-90 win over the Knicks.
Although his shot wasn’t at its sharpest, Durant made up for it with somewhat atypical contributions on the boards. His 14 rebounds equaled his second-best figure in that category on the season, and his eight assists positioned him as one of the Warriors’ most effective facilitators on the night. The scoring total represented only his second game under 20 points in the last 13 contests, and Durant’s struggles from three-point range continued, as he’s now just 3-for-13 (23 percent) from beyond the arc over the last three games. Naturally, the perennial All-Star is likely to bounce back in short order and has become the primary focal point of the team’s offensive attack on a game-to-game basis.
